An award-winning composer and producer, John’s journey has taken him from the halls of Western Michigan University to creating “sonic environments” for the stage and studio. With a background as a multiinstrumentalist—teaching drums, percussion, and piano—John has always been fascinated by how rhythm and sound can transform a space.
Whether he’s producing electronic albums or collaborating with choreographers, John’s life is centered around his private studio and his craft. Much like his time spent in music retail at Broughton Music & Art Center, John loves the personal connection of sharing music with others. He brings that same professional expertise and collaborative spirit to every event, treating every DJ set as a unique performance.
